Today is a gamer holiday because of how the abbreviation “Mar. 10” resembles “Mario,” the character name given to the fictional, heroic plumber first appearing in 1981’s Donkey Kong. (Although, at the time, Mario was referred to as “Jumpman,” and was actually a carpenter.) So…if you have a few minutes to spare today, why not break out your favorite incarnation of the mustachioed mascot, and have a little bit of fun?
